| Round 7 : Kirkistown, 3rd June 2006 |

David Finnerty took an immediate lead in damp, tricky but drying conditions and immediately built up a race winning lead only to go grass tracking at turn four when a more cautious approach would have seen him take the win - isnt hindsight wonderful!.
Michael Gillan then hit the front and took a deserved and convincing 5.5second win from champion elect Richie Ryan with Gary Jeffers third.

Race two and Richie Ryan got the holeshot with Finnerty close behind and it stayed this way until lap four when Finnerty went missing promoting Jeffers to second. with AJ Hutchinson 3rd, Paul Greaney 4th, and Marty Lennon now in 5th.
