Irish Clubmans SS600 Championship
| Round 2 : Aghadowey, 8th April 2006 |

Martin Lennon was the name on everyones lips after round two where the young Banbridge man came
away from Aghadowey with fifty championship points for his two wins and immediately shot up to
second place in the Bridgestone supersport championship. Riding a Kawasaki Marty was on great
form unlike round one where he failed to even make the grid. Noel Johnston took second from
Gary Robinson.

Race two saw a brilliant three way scrap for the lead between Gary Robinson, Gary Jeffers and Lennon. Robinson initially led this race but then made a mistake on the brakes at the hairpin to let his two rivals through with Lennon going on to win and bag his second race win of the day. Second was the 2005 clubmans GP125 champion Gary Jeffers and third the consistent Gary Robinson.

The Bridgestone tyre raffle was held but the lucky winner was not displaying the Bridgestone stickers
on his bike in compliance with the rules, and so Bridgestone quite rightly did not give the said rider
his free set of tyres.
The raffle was then reheld at Bishopscourt and Fergal Kearney was the winner.
